My biggest regret recently was not getting the chance to do daily blog posts on the stuff I’ve been loving from this season’s London Fashion Week. An even bigger regret of mine is that I’ve missed out on talking about New York Fashion Week completely. Luckily though, both of these fashion weeks are very widely covered on the internet and the fact that Milan Fashion Week started today and Paris Fashion Week doesn’t start until next Wednesday, this is the perfect opportunity to do daily posts on the shows that aren’t as widely covered on the blogs that I read. So, to fill the small hole of regret in my heart, I’ve put together a post of my three favourite outfits from this season’s London Fashion Week and I thought I’d talk you through them from left to right.
The outfit on the left is from the Felder & Felder show which took place all the way back on the first day of fashion week. The thing I really liked about this outfit was the simplicity of it and it reminded me that not all high end fashion has to stand out and be a bit crazy.
The second outfit is from the Topshop Unique show which I believe took place on Monday. I totally adore Topshop Unique and I especially love that a high street store can have it’s own high end collection. I totally love everything about this outfit: the jumper is absolutely adorable, the skirt is stunning and I’m totally in love with the shoes. They really seem to have managed to take a common high street look and made it into a runway piece of art.
The final shot is from the Burberry show. If you read my blog rater regularly you might have seen a post I made a few weeks back on how much I love the new season of Burberry clothing. Burberry is probably the only high end fashion line that I like the male clothing more than I like the female clothing. This season, Burberry have taken their usual and trademark prints and made many sophisticated and classy outfits from it.
