Since I’m on a sort of spending ban (which I know will never ever work – I’ve already been shopping twice this week anyway), I doubt I’ll be picking any of these up any time soon. But don’t be surprised if you see some of these things being reviewed soon…
I honestly do not think that I will ever get bored of creating wish list posts. They are so much fun to write and hunt around for. This week I decided that I’d do a bit of a higher end wish list of things that I’m lusting after but should probably try and hold back on and certainly not buy all of them at once… Feelunique.com is such a great website to take a look at loads of different higher and end difficult to find beauty products for everyone so I thought I’d pick out six of the things I’ve been eyeing up for a while now and share them with you!
At Number 1 on the wish list is the YSL Touche Eclat (£21.25) which is a brightening concealer. Designed to be perfect for your under eyes (I’m shade two I believe), this will be perfect to use instead of the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer which I think should only be used on facial blemishes. Number 2 is the Benefit “Primping with the Stars” kit (£26.50). This a little bit of a cheat because I actually want to buy all of the products in the box separately (the ones in the box are all only minis) but I didn’t think you’d mind. In the kit, you get a mini Porefessional primer (which I reviewed on Tuesday), a mini They’re Real mascara (which is just ah-may-zing), a Stay Don’t Stray primer for your concealer and eyelids, Benetint lip and cheek tint (expect a review of this soon – I actually quite liked it) and then the Some Kind-a Gorgeous Foundation Faker and the Girl Meets Pearl Liquid Pearl for Face (and I have no clue what the heck they are!)
Number 3 is another YSL product; the YSL Baby Doll mascara (£19.60). In a video a while back, I said that I would never buy a mascara because I really don’t think I need it… wrong! Mascara is totally vital to me now. Not for the length (because I have quite long eyelashes luckily) but for the volume is gives you to make you look so amazingly alive and awake. Baby Doll has been at the top of my ‘mascaras to try’ list for ages and I think that will probably be my first purchase from this list.
Number 4 is the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream (£20.00) which is designed to be used as a skin healer/exfoliator kind of thing for any parts of you body. Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup has spoken about this in blog posts/videos on several occasions and ever since, this has not ceased to intrigue me. A healing cream you can use on your lips and your legs?! Yes please!
The final two products on this wish list show how cleanser crazy I am at the moment. For some reason, I’m going through this sudden passion for cleansers which is definitely not good considering most of the ones I want to try are crazy expensive! The first one I’ve been lusting after is a cleanser I think everyone and their aunt knows about – the Emma Hardy ‘Amazing Face’ cleansing balm (£28.90). Everyone has been raving about this ever since it was released and it’s supposed to be perfect and do everything you can think of in a cleanser! (Small side note; if you want to try this but don’t want to spend the normal £35 price tag, Clinique do a dupe for £21 that I mentioned in last week’s wish list right here.) The other cleanser that I’ve been eyeing up for a while is the Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser (two pack for £18.70). I’ve heard a lot about these cleansers, too, over the internet and they are also supposed to do wonders to your face!
