The Cleanser From The Heavens: Bioderma Purifying Foaming Gel

So today, I’m going to be talking about the Bioderma Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel. I know that I haven’t stopped rabbiting on about this product since I first started using it a few weeks back but I had to write about it at some point. Let’s start with the tale of how I acquired this gem. As you all know far too well, I took a short trip to Paris around Halloween time and when I was there, I obviously had to hit up the French pharmacies. I picked up an array of the stereotypical French pharmacy picks (check out a haul here) but my random impulse buy of the trip was this cleanser. Random the pick my well have been but the results that this product have given are luckily anything but.

This stuff is magical. It took me a few days of messing about with it to work out how to get the best results but when I understood, this stuff because the magical spot-removing cleanser. This stuff somehow manages to work even better than the stuff that the doctor’s prescribe to me! The way it works? Pump two squirts onto in between your fingers and foam up. Then lather all over your face and just stand around and wait for five minutes. When it looks as though the product has randomly vanished from your face, simply ‘splash’ (for want of a better word) off with water and hey presto, your skin looks instantly clearer and feels instantly smoother! Another good thing about this product? I haven’t had to use an exfoliator since I first started using this product and my skin hasn’t looked or felt this good in a very long time (and considering I have horrible ‘medically induced’ acne, that’s pretty damn good going!)

I couldn’t quite tell you whether or not I think this would be good for someone with normal skin to try (if you do have normal skin and know the affect it had on you then please comment below), but I can safely say that this is a must if you have acne or problematic skin issues. Look out for this in a Dealing With Acne #2 video next spring…
